Principal Risk Consultant - North West or South West
Our client, an international engineering and management consultancy, currently has a requirement for a Principal Risk Consultant to join as a permanent staff member in either the North West or South West office. Qualified to at least Degree level in an engineering or science discipline, preferably a Chartered Engineer, your background should demonstrate a minimum of 10-15 years experience in safety and risk. With experience of working in a Consultancy environment, the job-holder will be responsible for not only managing their own work but also the management of projects including the supervision of more junior staff. Relevant candidates must have a nuclear safety case background, have experience in radioactive waste management, be knowledgeable in radiological consequence assessment - dose uptake from areal releases, direct shine, contamination for example. An overall background in all aspects of risk management combined with the drive and ability to manage self and others is paramount in this position.
